The mystery of Ben thickens. He has passports and money from around the world. He has a spy on the rescue boat. The rescue boat wants him. And now we know he's a mastermind off the island in the future too. What the FUCK is his deal?

We've also learned that Sayid is another one of the Oceanic 6. Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sayid for sure. Is Ben one? I don't think so, even though last week's episode promised two more revealed, I don't know if he counts.

So, Sayid gets off the island and instead of going into a mental institute or drinking, he becomes a hitman - for Ben - to kill people who are trying to endanger his friends. "His friends," presumably being, the people still on the island. "The Economist" of the title is, also presumably, a friend of Naomis (the guy from The Wire and the last two weeks?) because the blonde girl had the same bracelet as her. Two dueling factions off the island in addition to on the island.

Ben somehow convinced Sayid, when he got off the island, to become a hitman against these people - for some reason - even though hes an international celebrity.

Oh, and don't forget that it takes an extra 31 minutes for something to travel to the island. And that the rescuers may or may not know something about Penny Widmore. And that fucking Michael has to fit into this somewhere too.

Shit, this show just gives us so much more to digest every single week.

Wow.

That's all I got!

Are we to believe that the Oceanic Six are Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, BEN, and ??????

Next...week...can't...come...soon...enough!!

oh yeah... one other point I wanted to make...

in the grand scheme of the Star Wars/Lost analogy (which I COMPLETELY buy into), this episode is CLEARLY the EMPIRE Cloud City moment with Sayid being our Lando.

A few points that have been brought up to me today that I find interesting.

1. Ben has all those passports. Who is to say that he doesn't have one that says he was one of the people on the plane?

2. Is there anything that says ONLY 6 people got off the island? Maybe 6 were made public.

Many more open doors this week then any other one I remember recently.
